FIRM PROFILE

Vaughn, Bowden & Wooten, PA, was formed on February 1, 2006, by the three named partners, Tom Vaughn, Ben Bowden and Eric Wooten.  The three founding partners have been members of various larger firms, but withdrew from those firms and formed their new firm with the belief that they could better serve the needs of their specific clients in a smaller, more specialized firm and yet offer a wide range of legal expertise.  The firm has earned the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell, an AV rating and is listed in AM Best’s Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys.  From its’ inception, the firm has been involved in a variety of litigation, including complex insurance litigation, real estate matters, Jones Act/Maritime litigation, premises liability, products liability, §1983 and Title VII civil rights litigation, trucking litigation, automobile litigation, defense of mass tort products liability cases, workers’ compensation cases and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation matters.  The members, associates and staff of Vaughn, Bowden & Wooten, PA, look forward to many years of service to their local community and the gulf south region.  The firm’s members will always endeavor to remember that the firm was created to serve its clients in a more personal and specialized manner.
